We have a dedicated staff at Webster that care deeply about their students’ education and social/emotional development. Our goal at Webster is to foster a positive school culture grounded in innovation, creativity, and high levels of academic achievement. You play an important role in this educational journey. We encourage you to connect and get involved through our PTO, school events, and collaboration with your child’s teacher. We are excited to welcome you into our Webster community.

MRS. DENISE POWLEY
Principal
As the Principal of Webster, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment so that every student can grow to their full potential. My philosophy is that strong schools are built on meaningful collaboration. I value our partnership, recognizing that together we create the greatest positive impact for students.
This will be my 23rd year in education, and I have proudly served in various instructional roles and leadership positions at both the Early Childhood and Elementary School level. This is my 2nd year of Administration with Webb City. Prior to that, I served as a Principal in an Early Childhood and Elementary School before I joined the Webb City Nation.
On a personal note, my husband and I raised our children in Southwest Missouri and are proud to call this community home.
MRS. CANDACE VENE
Assistant Principal
Candace Vene joins Webster Primary and Webb City Middle School as Assistant Principal, beginning her career in public education in 2019 in the Carl Junction School District. During this time, she has taught second and third grade and coached volleyball.
Mrs. Vene earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Southern State University, her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, and her Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.
She and her husband, Axle, have been married for three years and are the proud parents of one son. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Mrs. Vene enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
